Raven Crest by Micho is a collector’s knife in which strength of form meets the atmosphere of ancient symbolism and noble craftsmanship. At first glance, this design evokes the image of a raven’s feather, the shadow of old tales, and the majesty of objects created not merely for utility, but for the impression they leave behind. It is a composition that feels bold, dark, and dignified, yet filled with subtle details that reveal their character only upon closer inspection.
The blade, crafted from ornamental mosaic Damascus forged by Greg Forge, gives the piece remarkable depth and an almost hypnotic rhythm. The pattern in the steel is far more than decoration — it resembles the record of a hidden story, pulsing beneath the surface of the metal. The slender line of the blade combines elegance with a predatory confidence, creating a form that is refined, yet not without an inner rawness.
The grenadil handle, decorated with feather-like carving and hammered texture, is the most distinctive element of this model. Its surface and arrangement immediately call to mind the plumage of a raven — a bird long present in myth, legend, and symbolism associated with mystery, intelligence, and vigilance. Because of this, Raven Crest takes on an almost totemic presence. The hammered guard, made from a silver and gold alloy, completes the composition with a noble accent, introducing a subtle contrast between the dark expressiveness of the handle and the luminous metallic detail.
