My name is Pawel Lukanowski  "Pavulon "

I am a hunter, my passion took just from hunting

Knifemaking is my big passion and  hobby. I made my first knife in 2009

to my hanter friend .

I use the best natural materials: mammoth and walrus tusk, horns, antlers and wood, but sometimes I use synthetic materials and stabilized wood.

I also use different grades of steel.. I don’t avoid the carbon and stainless steel, but most close  to me is carbon and stainless Damascus.

Lately, I used steel forging and  I make heat treatment more often in my own workshop, in a specialized furnace .

Sheaths for my knife I do myself  from the leather. In my works I mix different materials: leather, wood, bones and tusks.

All the time I’m experimenting with styles, forms, materials and techniques.

I like knives consistent in design and refined. I'm trying to make  unique knives.

I like the Scandinavian style too, but I also make folding knives.

I’m looking for perfection all the time. Recently, I’m decorating my knives etching technique and scrimshaw technique.

Sometimes I sculpture and engrave  in steel and in the other materials

My works have a few achievements. The most important for me is the first prize at the knifeshow in Gembloux in Belgium for the best knife in the category "Fixed".

And first prize at knifeshow in Gliwice in Poland for the best folding knife.
