A knife has always been in my life as a tool or piece of equipment. Always acceptable, utilitarian and used, never as decoration. Later contact with scouting and hunting strengthened this bond. The search for the perfect hunting knife prompted me to make a knife myself, and for several years the search has been going on...
In my work, I focus mainly on hunting knives, both dedicated to specific activities and more universal. Focusing first on usability and ergonomics.
My works are created according to my own designs, mainly from stainless steel or with increased resistance to corrosion, but I do not avoid challenges. I select the handle materials for each knife individually, using the full range of available materials, from stabilized wood, antlers, bone to G10 and all types of composites.
I make custom knives very rarely and only on the basis of my own projects.
Since 2017, I have been operating under the Kiedi Handmade Knives brand.
